Japan is dominating today in terms of wheelchair accessibility for the disabled community. They have achieved this success through a concerted effort of focused legislation and a vision of achieving “barrier free” entry ways in everything to trains, toilets, tourist attractions, buses, hotel rooms, streets, and sidewalks.
